Leadership Coachella Valley Project Supports Local Recovery Center with Unique Fundraiser

Leadership Coachella Valley is helping shape the next generation of local leaders—and this year’s class is already making an impact across the valley.

The program, known for identifying and developing future community leaders, includes NBC Palm Springs’ own Thalia Hayden and Kai Beach in its 2026 class. As part of their class project, the group is partnering with a local recovery center to help expand its services and provide additional support for those on the road to recovery.

To raise funds, the group is organizing a unique community event featuring exclusive experiences not typically open to the public. One highlight includes access to the historic O'Donnell Golf Club, a private, members-only club nestled in the San Jacinto Mountains.

Organizers say the fundraiser will offer a variety of one-of-a-kind opportunities—from behind-the-scenes tours to special local experiences—giving community members a chance to give back while enjoying some of the valley’s most unique destinations.

Proceeds from the event will go directly toward expanding resources at the recovery center, helping individuals access critical services and support systems as they rebuild their lives.

Leadership Coachella Valley leaders say the goal is simple: create meaningful change while connecting the community through shared experiences and purpose.
