Stagecoach 2026 Wraps Up After Wind Evacuation Rattled Saturday Night
The Stagecoach Country Music Festival wrapped up Sunday night at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, closing out another year of what has become one of the biggest country music events in the world. The three-day festival draws tens of thousands of fans to the Coachella Valley each spring, filling the grounds with performances across multiple stages, along with food vendors, saloons, and a full festival experience.
This year's headliners were Cody Johnson on Friday, Lainey Wilson on Saturday, and Post Malone closing out the weekend on Sunday night.
Saturday, however, did not go as planned. High winds swept through the valley mid-festival, forcing organizers to temporarily evacuate the grounds while Marshmello was on stage. Announcements went out instructing crowds to exit immediately. The disruption pushed back set times for Lainey Wilson and Pitbull, and forced the removal of Riley Green and Journey from the night's lineup entirely. The festival reopened around 9 p.m., and Wilson eventually took the Mane Stage as planned.
Sunday went smoothly, with Post Malone closing out the festivities as scheduled. Organizers declared the festival was "back in the saddle" heading into the final day.
Now that the crowds are heading home, drivers should expect heavy traffic across the valley Monday morning. Kris Gunterson with CV Sync has all you need to know before you go.
