New 24-Hour Emergency Veterinary Facility Opens in Rancho Mirage
A new emergency veterinary hospital is now open in Rancho Mirage, expanding access to urgent medical care for pets in the Coachella Valley.
The Rancho Mirage Animal and Emergency Facility celebrated its grand opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, welcoming community members to tour the new location, meet the staff and learn more about the services available.
The facility provides emergency treatment for animals experiencing serious conditions, including trauma, seizures, severe bleeding, breathing emergencies and suspected poisoning.
Staff members say the goal is to provide fast and compassionate care when pets need it most, especially during situations that cannot wait for a regular veterinary appointment.
The facility is currently open 24 hours a day from Thursday through Monday. Leaders say they are continuing to build their team with the goal of eventually expanding to full 24/7 operations.
Veterinary staff say having around-the-clock emergency services is important because pets often do not show signs of illness until their conditions become serious.
The new facility is designed to provide pet owners with another option for emergency care and help meet the growing need for veterinary services in the region.
