Chris Clemens joined NBC Palm Springs in September 2023 as Assistant News Director. Her responsibilities include management of daily news coverage, assigning stories to reporters, coordinating newsflow with producers, overseeing special projects, and working alongside the News Director to pursue station goals and develop programming.
Experience
Chris has over 30 years of marketing, advertising, and public relations experience with an emphasis in media relations, and has been recognized in several media outlets for her work with local businesses and community nonprofits. Chris is originally from the San Francisco Bay Area. She fell in love with the Coachella Valley's unique environment, tranquility, and career opportunities, now calling the Coachella Valley home for over 20 years.
